Radio Destruct Switch unit and Chassis label
This switch unit allows the pilot to destroy the radio in the event the aircraft was downed in enemy territory. The 5C/543 switches are the master switches and the two buttons under the lid needed to both be pressed in order for detonation to take place.
Includes the unit riveted together with anchor nuts and screws, the two 5c/543 switches, the two push buttons and shrouds and the Chassis label. The lid and hinge bracket are etched primed and finished in satin black with DANGER screen printed in red. The main base unit is etch primed
