Gunther Balz's Spitfire, Builder #12

Gunther Balz, Spitfire Builder #12. Gunther bought the first full kit from Russ and his Spitfire was cleared to fly in 2020. Tragically Gunther passed away from Covid before he could see his Spitfire fly. It's N registration filed in 2018 is N783GB. A distinguished Reno Air-race pilot he knew aircraft having flown a bunch of WW2 era types as well as a bunch more of the modern types.

The aircraft was donated to the EEA Museum, below are photos of it being assembled there.
