David Fether's Spitfire, Builder #9

Progress so far......

I purchased a set of 2-seat plans from Russ in 2012 but didn't really make a start until 2016. The fuselage is in my hanger at Wedderburn and smaller parts I am working on from home south of Sydney.  

As of March 2020 I have a fuselage upside down on the build table. Framing and bulkheads have been completed from #5 aft and I am about to make a start on the larger #4 frame and then work forward.

All of the major structural elements are complete for the tailplane and rudder. I am currently working on the trim mechanisms prior to commencing skinning.
